Herbal Cure For Fibromyalgia

Herbal cures for fibromyalgia can help to relieve the symptoms that are associated with pain and chronic fatigue.

Improving adrenal function is a critical element in relieving the symptoms of fibromyalgia.

Licorice is an herbal supplement for chronic fatigue that can be used to be of great benefit in curing the symptoms. It relieves the overall weakness and malaise associated with chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia.

It is taken with milk. You may be asking, "what if I am allergic/lactose intolerant to milk?"

There are other things that you could take with it like Gatorade but you would have to sweeten it with even more sugar! (pref. brown sugar)

Why? Because you need the calories that whole milk provides. It is essential to give you the highly beneficial effects of the licorice. You also need all the sodium that milk contains.

But even if you are lactose-intolerant that usually improves as well from the licorice!

If you take licorice in just water you will not get the same results.

Why does licorice taken this way work? Because it is a natural cortisone. Licorice is better than taking the drug cortisone. The drug cortisone tends to weaken the natural function of the adrenals. Licorice on the other hand boosts the normal activity of the adrenals so they can function on their own. That’s the beauty of an herbal cure for fibromyalgia. It supports rather than replaces the function which it is trying to help. Herbs are a complete food. They are not drugs.

Take this first thing in the morning upon rising:

500 ml. whole milk (just over 2 cups)

2 grams licorice extract (either powdered extract or liquid extract)

Don't take anything else (except maybe coffee) for 15 min. after.

If you use the liquid extract you must make sure to take enough to equal 2 grams. If you don't get any relief of your chronic fatigue symptoms from 2 grams, you can take up to 5 grams of licorice extract.

This seems like a lot of milk. But if you don't take the full 500 ml of whole milk you will not get the full results. The licorice must be absorbed slowly into the bloodstream to give the effect of improving the hormonal production of cortisone. Less milk would make the licorice absorb too quickly.

Second concern:

Raising blood pressure.

The fact is, chronic fatigue causes low blood pressure. If you have high blood pressure you don't have chronic fatigue!

If you take your blood pressure on days you feel especially lousy you will see that your blood pressure is in fact quite low on those particular days. Finding out you do have low blood pressure actually confirms the diagnosis of chronic fatigue.

This is one of the best things about the licorice. You will feel so much better with your blood pressure higher and you won't feel hypoglycemic either.

Licorice taken in milk is a very highly regarded herbal cure for the symptoms of fibromyalgia. Try it!
